Story
We are taking part in the 2014 Vinnies Community Sleepout to do something about homelessness!
Help us raise money for Vinnies so that they can continue supporting those experiencing or facing homelessness in our community.
How you can help:
$15 - Can provide a day's meals for a family struggling to put food on the table.
$30 - Can provide someone a bed for a night in one of our crisis accommodations.
$50 - Can provide school supplies & excursion fees for a child experiencing disadvantage.
$80 - Can pay for a course in life skills such as cooking or basic computer skills at TAFE.
$210 - Can provide a bed & meals for a person experiencing homelessness for one week.
$500 - Can provide training for an adult to re-enter the workforce.

St Vincent de Paul Society Victoria Inc
Every day thousands of people from all walks of life turn to the St Vincent de Paul Society in their time of need. Since 1854 the Society has offered a hand up to all who turn to it for assistance, without judgment or prejudice.
As a volunteer-led organisation, our 40, 000 volunteers across Australia have assisted over 1.8 million people.
The work of St Vincent de Paul Society in Victoria includes:
- • Practical support and material aid worth over
- $10m each year
- • Soup Vans, which provide 240,000 meals every
- year to Victoria’s homeless
- • Kids Camps for disadvantaged youths
- • Tutoring programs
- • Migrant and refugee support
- • Overseas development
- • Social research and advocacy for the most
- marginalised
